Power of Attorney is a kind of paper that allows one person to represent another in the court or any other place. It’s a consent form that allows someone else to perform certain acts on your behalf. A General POA allows your agent to basically do anything for you, however, a Limited POA restricts him to specific tasks only. A Durable POA is still effective if you become mentally incompetent.
